Minimal Golf, a Californian-based golf bag brand, has recently launched its line of sustainably manufactured trolley and stand bags in the UK for the first time.
The bags are made from discarded nylon fishing nets collected from oceans and beaches around the world. The nets are processed into pellets and transformed into a durable rip-stop nylon yarn with a water-resistant coating. The bags feature magnetic pocket closures, eliminating the need for zips which tend to fail on traditional golf bags.
The Terra (£399) is an 8.5-inch stand bag with a 5-way top and full-length dividers lined with velour. It includes fully magnetic pocket closures for easy access, 7 exterior pockets, 2 interior pockets (including an insulated cooler compartment), rangefinder compartment with magnetic anchor, and a lined valuables pocket. The bag is available in white, grey, or black with a subtle ‘M’ logo on the lower side pocket.
The Gaia (£449) is a 9.5-inch trolley bag with a 14-way top and full-length dividers. It shares the same features as the stand bag, including eight exterior pockets, three interior pockets, and is offered in grey or black.
