Tari Eason propels Rockets to 11th straight home win over Grizzlies


Tari Eason led the Houston Rockets (12-9) to a 117-104 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies (6-17), extending their home winning streak to an impressive 11 games.

Eason, coming off the bench, delivered a career-high 25 points, shooting 10 for 16, and matched his career high with 14 rebounds. Jabari Smith Jr. contributed significantly with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Houston’s bench outscored the Grizzlies’ reserves 58-19, showcasing the team’s depth in the win. Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks each added 11 points, while Jae’Sean Tate had 10 points and seven rebounds.

Jaren Jackson Jr. stood out for the Grizzlies, posting a career-high 44 points and seven rebounds. Despite Jackson’s stellar performance, Memphis lost its third straight game.

The teams are set to face off again on Friday night in Memphis, providing an opportunity for the Grizzlies to bounce back.
