Teammate of Titans Player Predicts Limitless Potential

Titans Teammate Says Sky's The Limit For 1 Key Player

The 2023 NFL Draft yielded some interesting and promising players, including a few quarterbacks.

C.J. Stroud immediately blossomed and led the Houston Texans to an unexpected playoff berth, while Bryce Young and Anthony Richardson are still expected to find a path to stardom over the next few years for the Carolina Panthers and Indianapolis Colts, respectively.

Will Levis fell into the second round of that draft, where the Tennessee Titans scooped him up, and once Ryan Tannehill suffered an ankle injury, Levis became their starting QB.

Though Levis’ rookie stats weren’t extremely impressive, Titans cornerback Elijah Molden told Zach Gelb that “the sky’s the limit” for his teammate.

“I think he had a lot on his plate as a rookie, and a lot was asked of him, and he was still able to produce,” Molden said. “So, I think the sky’s the limit for him.”

In Levis’ first NFL game, which came in Week 8 versus the Atlanta Falcons, he completed 19 of 29 pass attempts for 238 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions in a 28-23 win.

In his nine games played, he threw for 1,808 yards and eight touchdowns, but this coming season, he will have more help on his side.

Wide receiver Calvin Ridley, who had 76 catches, 1,016 yards and eight touchdowns last year with the Jacksonville Jaguars, is now with the Titans, as is running back Tony Pollard, who made the Pro Bowl in 2022 with the Dallas Cowboys.

The hope is that Pollard will make up for the loss of star running back Derrick Henry, who made the Pro Bowl four times in the past five years before leaving to join the Baltimore Ravens.

For most of the past 20 years, the Titans have been a mediocre team at best, and even though they managed to reach the AFC Championship Game in the 2019 season, their chances of getting back there anytime soon are slim.

But if Levis develops into a Pro Bowl-caliber signal-caller, perhaps a pathway back to Super Bowl contention will start to open up for them.
