The Los Angeles Rams headed into Week 7 against the Las Vegas Raiders at SoFi Stadium with hopes of getting what would be the team’s second win of the 2024 NFL season, as Sean McVay’s squad has been battling injuries to key players while struggling in the post-Aaron Donald era.

With the Rams looking like they are heading toward a disappointing end to the 2024 campaign, the rumor mill has started buzzing around the league with suggestions that Los Angeles should consider trading veteran wide receiver, Cooper Kupp.

McVay and veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford were hoping the team would be able to endure the team’s injuries this season while keeping the defense afloat following the retirement of Donald, but it just hasn’t happened that way, with the chance of making the NFL playoffs looking bleak at this point whether they win or lose to the Raiders on Sunday.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, teams have been calling the Rams to gauge interest in the team trading Kupp.

“My understanding, teams have been calling the Los Angeles Rams for a potential Cooper Kupp trade, which is a fascinating one to consider,” Rapoport said.

If the team decided to trade Kupp, it could be the beginning of a rebuilding process in Los Angeles, as Stafford might have second thoughts about sticking around, even though Puka Nacua has shown promise to be a talented wideout in this league despite his injury issues.

It’ll be interesting to see what the Rams do from here on out and what the result of Week 7’s game against the Raiders will have on what they decide to do moving forward.
