NFL players are just different.
We’re talking about absurdly athletic people with so much natural strength.
Even those who left the game years ago are in much better shape than the average human being, especially those who keep working out.
Notably, that was on full display during the MLB’s Celebrity Game.
Despite not having the most polished swing, legendary WR Terrell Owens almost hit a homerun in an actual MLB ballpark (Via MLB).

He hit the ball 320 feet out of sheer power, and he was less than impressed by that.
Again, Owens is almost 50 years old, and while that was a softball, it was still remarkable.
Owens is remembered for being one of the greatest wide receivers the game has ever seen.
A member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, he was a five-time All-Pro, six-time Pro Bowler, and five-time receiving touchdowns leader.
He made it to both the San Francisco 49ers Hall of Fame and the NFL’s 2000s All-Decade Team, walking away from the game with 1,078 career receptions, 15,934 receiving yards, and 153 receiving touchdowns.
He’s stayed in great shape since he retired from the league back in 2010, even making a brief comeback to play in the Fan Controlled Football League ten years ago.
