Terron Armstead Names Top-3 Pass Rushers He’s Faced

The Miami Dolphins had the most electric offense during the 2023 NFL season, but it didn’t result in much in the postseason.

The Dolphins were embarrassed on the road by the eventual Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, ending what looked like a promising season.

Miami hardly stood a chance as their defense suffered numerous injuries to key players, while the offense failed to convert on many explosive plays.

Heading into the 2024 NFL season, the Dolphins will need to do a better job of protecting Tua Tagovailoa who was one of the best pocket passers in the league when given time to throw downfield.

Left tackle Terron Armstead was one of the best at his position and kept Tagovailoa clean more often than not.

Armstead’s been in the league for a while and has faced some of the NFL’s best pass rushers and he listed the top-three he’s ever faced via The 33rd Team.

“If I had to pick three, I would say Von Miller, Cam Jordan. Third is, man is so many guys. You got Myles, you got Maxx, you got Micah, you got Khalil, but I would probably say Chandler Jones,” Armstead said.

Von Miller, Cam Jordan, and Chandler Jones in their primes were fearsome pass rushers who often blew up opposing offense’s plans.

Although the three aren’t quite what they used to be, there’s no denying that they were some of the best to play their respective positions.

Armstead can hold his own against the best of the best, meaning that the Dolphins should have a solid chance to bounce back in 2024.
