The NBA rumor mill takes no days off, so here’s the latest on all the latest chatter around the league.

D’ANGELO RUSSELL
D’Angelo Russell and fellow Laker Rui Hachimura are both potential trade candidates “given their play and the salaries that they earn”, according to HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto.
There’s no word yet on which teams might be interested in acquiring Russell.
It’s been a tough recent stretch for the 27-year-old, with averages of 10.5 points and 5 assists per game on 40 percent shooting over his last four games.
ZACH LAVINE
The Bulls are expected to continue “probing interested teams” on a Zach LaVine trade, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
The Lakers and 76ers are both likely to be interested in LaVine, per Shams.
The question will be whether either team can offer the Bulls enough in return.
DONOVAN MITCHELL
ESPN’s Brian Windhorst has previously reported Donovan Mitchell will not re-sign with Cleveland, and that was recently backed up by Action Network’s Matt Moore, who says it’s widely expected that Mitchell will leave the Cavaliers when he can become a free agent in the summer of 2025.
According to Moore, the Nets could be a suitor for Mitchell, as could the Knicks who tried to get Mitchell ahead of the 2022-23 season when he was traded to Cleveland instead.
IMMANUEL QUICKLEY
Immanuel Quickley finds himself in an interesting position in New York.
After failing to come to an agreement on a rookie extension during the offseason, Quickley’s future with the Knicks soon became the subject of speculation.
The young guard’s average playing time this season has also dropped from 28.9 minutes per game last season to 24.2 this season, with the Knicks’ roster being loaded with guards and wings.
According to The Athletic’s Fred Katz, “teams around the league are waiting to see how the Knicks handle Quickley” before the trade deadline.
PASCAL SIAKAM & OG ANUNOBY
The Hawks, Kings and Pacers are expected to be among the suitors for Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby, with Siakam the more likely player to be traded, according to Shams.
All signs suggest the Raptors will at some point want to completely rebuild around Scottie Barnes, who they consider to their franchise player of the future.
