The dominant Titleist GT driver reigns supreme on the PGA Tour

The incredible Titleist GT driver takeover of the PGA Tour continues apace

Titleist GT Drivers

The rapid adoption of NEW Titleist GT drivers continued last weekend, as 31 players added a new GT2, GT3 or GT4 model to the bag at the Rocket Mortgage Classic.

That includes 25 players who played with a GT driver in their first PGA TOUR start since the new models launched at the Memorial.

Titleist proved to be the most played driver at Detroit Golf Club with 62 drivers in play (39%) – and a whopping 44 of those were GT models, more than the nearest competitor’s total number of drivers (33).

When GT drivers made their DP World Tour debut, 28 players made the switch straight away.

A week earlier on the Korn Ferry Tour, 25 players put GT in play in their first week of availability.

“The whole [Titleist Golf Club R&D] team from top to bottom is just obsessed with making things as good as they can and they have such a deep understanding of us on the PGA TOUR and golfers in general,” said Titleist Brand Ambassador Cameron Young.

“They’ve seen everything, and there’s no little thing that you can bring to them that isn’t fixable or something they can’t experiment with. They all have such a deep knowledge of the equipment, there’s always a solution to what you’re looking for.”
