Dolomiti Energia Trentino (Serie A) added 25-year old American center Selom Mawugbe (207cm-104kg-1998, college: Azusa Pacific) to their roster for the new 2024-25 season. Mawugbe previously played at BAXI Manresa in Spanish Liga Endesa, Le Mans in French Betclic ELITE ProA, and in Basketball Champions League.
Three years ago, Mawugbe was drafted by Santa Cruz Warriors (G-League) and this marks his fifth season in professional basketball. He has also played in Germany, The Basketball Tournament, and NBA Summer League.
Mawugbe, a graduate of Azusa Pacific University, was named All-PacWest Player of the Year in 2020. His team made it to the PacWest Tournament Semifinals multiple times.
