Tiger Woods Fails to Qualify for Weekend Play at 2024 US Open Following Disappointing 3-over 73 Round

Tiger Woods misses cut at 2024 US Open after 3-over 73 on Friday

Tiger Woods started his second round at the 2024 U.S. Open at Pinehurst No. 2 needing to shoot around even par to make the cut after an opening-round 4-over 74.

After a solid birdie on the fourth hole, Woods gave it back on the fifth and added another bogey on the ninth to turn at 1-over 36.

Woods struggled on the back nine, making a bogey on the 12th and missing birdie opportunities on the 13th and 15th holes.

Despite some struggles, Woods managed to save par on the 17th and 18th holes to finish with a 3-over 73, falling short of making the cut once again.
