Timberwolves Dominate Suns in Game 1 with 33-Point Performance by Anthony Edwards

Anthony Edwards had an impressive performance, scoring 33 points to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to a commanding 120-95 victory over the Phoenix Suns in Game 1 of the NBA playoffs.

The third-seeded Timberwolves dominated the game, showcasing strong offense and suffocating defense from start to finish.

Karl-Anthony Towns and Nickeil Alexander-Walker also contributed significantly with 19 and 18 points respectively, supporting Minnesota’s scoring efforts. Rudy Gobert played a key role on defense, grabbing 16 rebounds and making an impact on both ends of the floor.

Despite solid performances from Kevin Durant (31 points), Devin Booker (18 points), and Bradley Beal (15 points), the Suns struggled to contain the Timberwolves’ relentless attack.

Anthony Edwards took over the game in the third quarter, sparking a crucial 19-4 run with his scoring prowess and exciting the home crowd with his fearless play.

Interestingly, the Suns had swept the Timberwolves 3-0 during the regular season.
