Retirement is hardly slowing future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady as he prepares for his new fall occupation as the lead NFL analyst for FOX Sports.
But the July 4th holiday gave him a brief respite from his work, and he took full advantage.
He had impressive company.
Brady was joined on a beach by Dallas linebacker Micah Parsons, young Texans star quarterback C.J. Stroud, new Dolphins wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and Buffalo cornerback Damar Hamlin.
So, how did Brady’s holiday activity go?
NFL expert Ari Meirov posted a video showing Hamlin intercepting a Brady pass during the beach football game on Independence Day.

Of course, even the most accomplished NFL quarterback in history is going to suffer picks, and Brady threw 212 in his 23-year career.
That pales to his 649 regular season touchdown tosses, and when you add seven Super Bowl rings to his accomplishments, those interceptions are easily forgotten.
As for Hamlin, he is one of the best stories in the NFL in a long time.
The sporting world and many others held their collective breath when Hamlin collapsed on the football field during a game against Cincinnati in January 2023.
He ran into a Bengals player in what seemed to be an unspectacular collision and then didn’t get back up.
Heroic actions by medical personnel likely saved his life as he was resuscitated on the field before being rushed to the hospital.
The force of the collision brought on cardiac arrest as the result of a rare condition that made him susceptible to such a medical event.
But Hamlin was able to resume his career, and it was heartwarming to see him intercepting Brady in a beach football game.
