For most of his NFL career, Tom Brady was known for his serious approach to competition.

He was the ultimate perfectionist and competitor, demanding 150% effort from everyone around him because he gave it himself.

This mindset helped him become the winningest quarterback in league history and arguably the best player ever.

However, now that he’s retired from the game, Brady has some regrets about his approach.

In a recent appearance on The Pivot, the legendary quarterback confessed that he wished he had enjoyed the game more and not taken it so seriously (via MLFootball).

Brady mentioned observing younger quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes having fun on the field.

Despite his regrets, Brady’s intense approach undeniably led to his incredible success, making it hard to dwell on what could have been.

At the core, football is a game meant to be enjoyed, but for Brady, it was also a profession where he dedicated himself to being the best.

With seven Super Bowl rings and numerous records, Brady’s achievements speak for themselves.
