Bill Belichick and Tom Brady’s run in New England for two decades was arguably the greatest in the history of the sport.
They won six Super Bowls and put together a dynasty that may never happen again in the league.
While in a recent appearance on The Herd, Brady talked about what made his long-time head coach great.
“Saturday night, we were so prepared and so focused, we were the opposite of tight…We had the answers to the test,” Brady said.
.@TomBrady explained why Belichick always had the @Patriots prepared for every moment.

To be a great team in the NFL, preparation is always the answer.
Everyone from the coaching staff down to the practice squad players needs to be prepared for every scenario.
That is exactly what made Belichick so outstanding while in New England and for the majority of his coaching career, and the way he prepared as a head coach trickled down to great players like Brady.
It is why the team was able to win so much over 20 years.
This franchise won the AFC East 18 times in those 20 years with Belichick and Brady together.
Belichick, because of that preparation and communication within meetings and in practice every single day, made Brady arguably the greatest quarterback in history.
The defense, year in and year out, was elite, too.
This is why talent doesn’t mean much in sports unless teams can put it all together and find the recipe for success.
That recipe in New England was all about the team and how they prepared and communicated as one.
