After over two decades as a superstar quarterback in the NFL, future Hall of Famer Tom Brady decided to leave the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ahead of the 2023 campaign and head into retirement at 45.

Although rumors circulated about a return to the field, as he seemed to be in the running to replace Derek Carr with the Las Vegas Raiders, Brady stayed retired and is pursuing other things like the beginning of a broadcasting career with FOX Sports.

After sitting out a year, Brady will begin his broadcasting stint with FOX Sports next season and is already doing the media rounds ahead of his debut in September.

While preparing for a new stage of his career, Brady had reflected on his playing days, as he did on The Herd with Colin Cowherd when he explained why he played so well during bad weather during his two decades in the game.

With the New England Patriots being a cold-weather team with an outdoor stadium, Brady had to adapt and figure out exactly what to do in order to be prepared for the harsh conditions on any given Sunday.

That’s one of the reasons Brady was so successful, as he would go above and beyond to always be prepared for what was in store for him on the football field, and it paid off with seven Super Bowl trophies won.
