Tommy Haas, the former world No. 2 and current tournament director of Indian Wells, joined forces with tennis legends Mike and Bob Bryan at the Fourth Annual Continuum Tennis Fundraiser in Miami Beach on March 28th. This event aimed to generate support for youth tennis programs, not just locally in South Florida, but also on a national and international scale.

The fundraiser took place at the picturesque Continuum Tennis Center, where attendees had the opportunity to participate in practice sessions and engage in on-court activities alongside the tennis icons. The event is part of the International Tennis Hall of Fame’s (ITHF) “Be Legendary” initiative, which seeks to inspire young athletes and foster their development in the sport.

Guests kicked off their day with a pre-event breakfast on the scenic Patio lawn, which included a silent auction and a chance to meet the Bryan brothers and Haas, as well as ITHF CEO Dan Faber and Executive Vice President of Revenue Jeff Harrison. Participants enjoyed a lively morning filled with drills, games, and friendly competition led by the star players. This was followed by a celebratory lunch, where trophies were awarded to standout players: Shelly Bressler for Most Improved Player, Lu Goldman for Best Team Player, and Isabelle Rovner for Best Put Away Shot.

In a statement, event organizer Steven Michaelson expressed his enthusiasm for the day’s success, highlighting the importance of raising funds for the ITHF’s initiatives. He and co-organizer Stacey Cooper are eager to continue this valuable work in the coming years.

Dan Faber, CEO of the International Tennis Hall of Fame, shared his gratitude for the support received from the South Florida community. He emphasized how essential these contributions are for enabling opportunities for young talent around the world.

The event not only showcased the commitment to nurturing future generations in tennis but also offered a platform for attendees to connect with their idols while contributing to a worthy cause. The combination of fun on the courts and a community-focused mission made the day memorable for all involved.
