Top 5 Teams Challenging the Chiefs Identified by Analyst Following Week 7

Nick Foles Reveals Why Andy Reid Is So Successful

With seven weeks in the rearview mirror, the Kansas City Chiefs are still undefeated.

With the Minnesota Vikings’ loss to the Detroit Lions, Andy Reid’s team is the only team that hasn’t lost a single game this season.

Notably, that’s despite Patrick Mahomes failing to throw a touchdown in his past two games and throwing at least one interception in every game this season.

Needless to say, the rest of the league should be scared, as the Chiefs keep winning despite their best player underperforming.

With that in mind, former NFL star Chris Canty shared his updated list of the top five challengers for the Chiefs this season (via Unsportsmanlike).

Following their big win over the Houston Texans, Canty gave the Green Bay Packers the nod at No. 5.

The Packer’s defense has been much better this season, and while Jordan Love is taking some big risks, he’s also making big plays.

Despite the loss, he still has the Minnesota Vikings at No. 4.

Kevin O’Connell’s team almost kept its undefeated streak alive with a strong performance vs. a divisional rival.

Then, he has the Buffalo Bills at No .3.

Adding Amari Cooper gives Josh Allen a bonafide weapon for the first time this season, and he’s playing his best football right now.

The Detroit Lions made the cut at No. 2.

Dan Campbell’s team is now tied for the best record in the NFC, and that win over the Vikings was simply huge.

Unsurprisingly, the Baltimore Ravens sit atop the list.

The Ravens have been unstoppable on both sides of the field for the past month, and that worrisome 0-2 start to the season is all in the past.
