Top-notch players ready to tee off at the prestigious 50th CPKC Women’s Open

Canadian superstar Brooke Henderson and defending champion Megan Khang are set to headline the field at the 2024 CPKC Women’s Open at Earl Grey Golf Club in Calgary, Alta. The tournament will take place from July 23-28 and will feature a star-studded lineup including Lydia Ko, Rose Zhang, Lilia Vu, and many other top players.

The CPKC Women’s Leadership Summit will kick off the tournament week on July 23, benefiting the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation. This year’s field includes six of the top 10 and 73 of the top 100 players in the 2024 Race to CME Globe season standings, with 23 Olympians competing for Canada’s National Open Championship in Calgary.

In addition to Henderson and Ko, notable players participating in the tournament include Hannah Green, Rose Zhang, and Minjee Lee. The defending champion, Megan Khang, will be joined by past champions such as Paula Reto, Ariya Jutanugarn, and Britney Lincicome.

The CPKC Women’s Open will feature a $2.6 million USD purse, with the champion taking home $390,000. The tournament will also benefit the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation through CPKC’s Has Heart program. In addition to the on-course action, fans can enjoy The Rink on the 17th hole and food and patio experiences at The Fare Way featuring the Keg.

Kids aged 12-and-under will have free admission all week, and fans can enhance their experience by downloading the Golf Canada Mobile App. The event will also feature a Women’s Leadership Summit and four days of television broadcast coverage.
