Top Premier League Clubs Man United and Chelsea both show interest in signing David Moller Wolfe

Man United and Chelsea want to sign David Moller Wolfe

Manchester United and Chelsea are keeping tabs on the AZ Alkmaar left-back David Moller Wolfe.

It is no secret that the two English clubs are looking at a potential left-back, especially with their problems in that area.

Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia have had persistent injury problems for Manchester United and they need alternatives. At Chelsea, Ben Chilwell has suffered from injury problems as well. It will be interesting to see if the two English clubs decide to follow up on their interest with an official proposal to sign Wolfe in the coming months.

According to a report from Fichajes, the defender is likely to cost around €12-15 million. Manchester United and Chelsea certainly have the financial resources to get the deal done. They are very keen on the young Norwegian defender and it remains to be seen how the situation develops.

David Moller Wolfe could be tempted to join Man United, Chelsea

Wolfe is likely to be attracted to the idea of playing for Manchester United and Chelsea. They are amongst the biggest clubs in the world and the opportunity to move to the Premier League will be hard to turn down. It would be a major step up in his career and he would get to test himself against world-class attackers in the Premier League. Regular football in England could accelerate his development and help him fulfil his tremendous potential.

Manchester United and Chelsea have a proven track record when it comes to nurturing young players and they could help the 22-year-old develop further.

AZ Alkmaar might not want to lose their prized prospect any time soon, but they will be under pressure to sell the player if Manchester United or Chelsea come forward with a lucrative proposal. The defender is likely to have his head turned by the interest from the Premier League clubs as well if there is a concrete proposal on the table.
