Manor Solomon may soon make his way back to Tottenham as he eyes an exit from Villarreal, where he has struggled to secure a regular spot following his loan transfer.
Manor Solomon’s Loan Agreement with Villarreal Under Review

Reports from El Periódico Mediterráneo (via Sport Witness) indicate Solomon is dissatisfied with his limited playing time at Villarreal, having appeared in just 10 matches and contributing one goal along with four assists. With Marcelino Garcia Toral not fully utilizing his talents, a move back to Tottenham appears possible as the January transfer window approaches. The loan agreement includes a clause permitting Solomon to terminate it unilaterally, which he might consider to end his time at Villarreal early.
If Solomon does return to Tottenham in January, it could complicate the situation for the club. However, interest in him remains strong, particularly from West Ham and Leeds United, the latter having previously benefited from his performance during a loan spell.
What are Tottenham’s Options with Manor Solomon?
Solomon is tied to Tottenham until the end of the 2027-28 season, providing the club with opportunities to sell him for a favorable price if he returns. Ideally, Tottenham would hope to resolve the matter in a way that avoids a simple loan return. As the transfer window opens, it will be interesting to see how his situation unfolds, although a premature end to his Villarreal loan seems increasingly likely.
