Portland Trail Blazers rookie Toumani Camara will be sidelined for the rest of the season due to a broken rib and kidney laceration sustained during the team’s loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.
Camara, who remained in Atlanta for treatment but has since been discharged, will return to Portland shortly but will sit out the remainder of the season.
As a rookie, Camara started 49 out of 70 games for the Trail Blazers, averaging 7.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.
