Scottie Scheffler secured his 12th PGA Tour victory on Sunday at the 2024 Travelers Championship, marking his sixth win of the season. Interestingly, this is only the second time in his career that he has won a tournament after the month of April.
Nevertheless, a win is always a win, and Scheffler now boasts six victories this year, becoming the first player since Tiger Woods 15 years ago to achieve this feat in a single season.
Furthermore, this triumph at the Travelers Championship earned him $3.6 million, pushing his total career earnings on the PGA Tour to $70,262,087.
His win at the Masters in April elevated him to the 10th spot on the all-time PGA Tour money list. His recent victory at the Memorial propelled him past Justin Rose and Adam Scott, landing him in the 7th position. He now stands as the 5th highest earner in PGA Tour history.
Among his 12 wins are two Masters titles, two Players Championships, two Arnold Palmer Invitationals, two WM Phoenix Opens (one of which was a signature event), as well as victories at the Match Play, RBC Heritage, Memorial, and now the Travelers Championship.
This marks the third consecutive season that Scheffler has set the record for the most official money earned ($14,046,910 in 2021-22; $21,014,342 in 2022-23).
