The Jacksonville Jaguars have to consider the 2023 NFL season a disappointment after they showed promise the previous year.
Jacksonville finished 9-8 and missed the postseason, forcing the franchise to reconsider the roster and how they can get over the hump.
The Jaguars lost star wide receiver Calvin Ridley in free agency to the Tennessee Titans, but replaced him with Gabe Davis.
Jacksonville also did well to add to it’s defense, though the offense could use a couple more pieces to give Trevor Lawrence more weapons to work with.
Travis Etienne has turned into one of the best running backs in the NFL and should be in line for another workhorse load next season.
Unfortunately, it seems that Etienne’s brother Trevor was arrested recently via Lance McCurley of Lake Oconee News.
“Georgia running back Trevor Etienne was arrested overnight by the Athens-Clarke County Police Department on four counts, with all of them being misdemeanors. They are: reckless driving, affixing materials that reduce visibility of windows/windshield, failure to maintain lane/improper driving on road/DUI – Alcohol- less safe.”

The younger Etienne transferred to Georgia back in December after spending the previous two seasons with Florida.
Trevor was the presumptive favorite to become the Bulldogs’ lead back, but his status now remains up in the air.
This continues a troubling trend of Georiga players being arrested for traffic violations and Etienne has to be better.
Players have a responsibility to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner, and now Etienne and Georgia will need to see what comes of his arrest.
