For years, the NFL has tried to expand to all corners of the Earth, and it’s safe to say that it’s succeeded.

Now more than ever, the league is reaching new places, and there’s an ever-growing pool of foreign fans.

That’s why it’s not that far-fetched to think we could have a team overseas at some point.

As a matter of fact, the Kelce brothers recently went on the record to talk about a potential team in London.

In the latest edition of their podcast, they answered fan questions, and they both admitted that they would definitely play for an NFL team in London (via New Heights).

Travis Kelce stated that he would only consider playing for a team other than the Kansas City Chiefs if it was a team abroad, going as far as to predict that there would be an NFL team in London in less than ten years.

Jason doubled down on that, stating that if the league were ever to have a new team overseas, London would definitely be the chance.

He talked about how big of a market it is and how many fans they’ve developed throughout the course of the years, adding that perhaps Berlin or Munich could also be in the mix, provided it actually happens.

The league continues to expand, and the demands of the modern world make this a real possibility.

As crazy as it may sound, it turns out that ‘American’ football might not be exclusively American at some point in the foreseeable future.
