The Baltimore Ravens are looking like they’ll once again be in contention for the Super Bowl when the 2024 NFL season kicks off as they’ve got a talented roster on both sides of the field.

The defense was the best unit in the league last season, while the offense got a massive boost this past free agency as they signed star running back Derrick Henry.

With Henry on board, Lamar Jackson and company will have an even easier time running the football and giving opposing defenses headaches trying to stop it.

However, Jackson should be plenty motivated to win as he led the Ravens to the AFC Championship Game and took home NFL MVP honors for the second time in his career.

Jackson is one of the best and most popular players in the league because of his playstyle and attitude, and has sold a lot of merchandise since coming to the NFL.

However, he is currently disputing former Dallas Cowboys star Troy Aikman’s use of the No. 8 though the latter poked a joke at the situation via his personal Twitter account.

Aikman and Jackson have both donned the No. 8 jerseys for their entire career and it sounds like the latter is looking to avoid any confusion when fans go to buy their merchandise and apparel.

As Aikman noted, there are other quarterbacks like Steve Young who have a claim to the number so it’ll be interesting to see how Jackson’s bid pans out.
