Tsitsipas and Badosa End Partnership: Tsitsipas Goes Solo

Tsitsidosa is No More: Badosa and Tsitsipas Split

By Chris Oddo | @TheFanChild | Sunday May 5, 2024

Tsitsidosa is no more. The romance of Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas has come to an end, per Badosa, who posted the following on Instagram on Sunday:

Tennis Express

“After careful consideration and many cherished moments together, Stefanos and I have decided to amicably part ways. We have shared a journey filled with love and learning, and it is as friends with immense mutual respect that we now choose to move forward on our own paths.

“We are grateful for the support of our friends, family and all who have been part of our story. As we transition into this new chapter of our lives, we continue to wish each other nothing but the best in all our endeavors. We kindly ask for privacy during this time, and we thank you for your understanding and respect.”

The pair had been dating last spring, when they broke the news with a string of social media posts. They launched a joint Instagram page – “Tsitsidosa” – to herald the news (which has been disbanded).

26-year-old Badosa, a former world No.2, is currently ranked 101. She has struggled mightily with injuries and has won just three of ten matches in 2024. 25-year-old Tsitsipas, who won his third Monte-Carlo title in April, is ranked seventh.
