Amanda Anisimova of the USA is set to take the court in Wimbledon qualifying on Tuesday. The historic tournament is taking place at the grass courts in Wimbledon, London, United Kingdom from June 24 to July 14, 2024, with a prize money of £50,000,000.

Reigning Roland Garros and Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz will be looking to defend a Grand Slam title for the first time at SW19. Jannik Sinner, who recently clinched his first grass-court title in Halle, will be playing his first major as the world No. 1. Tommy Paul, the Queen’s Club champion, has become the new American No. 1.

On the women’s side, world No. 1 Iga Swiatek will be aiming for her first Wimbledon final. However, reigning champion Marketa Vondrousova suffered an injury in a tune-up tournament in Berlin. Other top contenders for the Venus Rosewater Dish include Elena Rybakina, 2022 Wimbledon winner, two-time Australian Open champion Aryna Sabalenka, two-time Wimbledon finalist Ons Jabeur, Berlin champion Jessica Pegula, and US Open champion Coco Gauff.
