Twelfth Matchday of the 2024 Copa América: Live Match Coverage and Analysis

2024 Copa América, Matchday 12: Match thread and discussion

Day 12 of Copa America is a most important one, as Group C will be decided tonight. As the USMNT take on Uruguay, Panama will face Bolivia in a match that could determine how the group standings settle.

Panama shocked the United States on Thursday night, beating them 2-1 to give themselves a great chance to get out of the group. They will look to beat Bolivia and then see how the other match settles to determine if they go through or if they head home. Bolivia have had a horrible tournament, and at this point they’re looking to play for pride and as the main spoiler for Panama. A win for Bolivia would see Los Canaleros head home.

Those of you who are not at the U.S. match may want to have a second screen on this match so you can follow in real time how Group C ends.

This thread will be your match thread. We don’t have many rules here. We just ask that you don’t insult each other personally and treat each other with respect. Debates can get heated and that’s fine, but name-calling and petty insults will get you banned. If you see a comment that you feel is out of line, please report it and it will be dealt with.
