Two of Donald Trump’s golf course alcohol permits not renewed

Two of Donald Trump’s golf course liquor licenses not renewed

Former President Donald Trump’s golf courses in New Jersey are facing liquor license renewal denials following his recent conviction on 34 felonies in New York.

New Jersey’s Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) announced that temporary 90-day permits have been issued to Trump National Colts Neck and Trump National Bedminster to continue serving alcohol until a hearing on July 19 in Trenton.

The Trump Organization has criticized the upcoming hearing as “unwarranted and unjustified,” as reported by news outlets.

Trump National Philadelphia in Pine Hill, New Jersey had its liquor license renewed by the municipality, unlike the other two golf clubs.

The liquor license hearing is scheduled to take place after Trump’s sentencing in New York on July 11.

Given Trump’s conviction for falsifying business records, the ABC is examining New Jersey laws that prohibit convicted criminals with “moral turpitude” from holding a liquor license, according to official sources.
