Tyreek Hill Breaks Silence on Tua Tagovailoa’s Contract Negotiations

Tyreek Hill Speaks Out About Tua Tagovailoa's Contract Situation

The Miami Dolphins will enter the season as a strong candidate to win their division, but they want more than that.

Mike McDaniel’s team has developed one of the most electrifying offenses in the game, and they’ve proven to be able to put up points against the best defenses in the game.

Needless to say, that wouldn’t even be possible if it wasn’t for their quarterback.

That’s why superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill can’t fathom the fact that some people still think Tua Tagovailoa isn’t deserving of a contract.

Talking on ESPN, the former Super Bowl champion advocated for his teammate to get the contract extension he’s earned (via Fins Xtra).

Hill has repeatedly talked highly of Tua, calling him the most accurate quarterback he’s ever played with, and he wants him to get his contract.

The Dolphins and Tua’s camp have had talks about a new contract for months now, and while the sides have remained optimistic and have been positive about the situation, the lack of updates could be worrisome.

If the Dolphins feel like Tua is their guy, which seems to be the case, then it doesn’t make any sense to drag this decision any further, especially after getting Jaylen Waddle a new contract as well.

But if he doesn’t get a new deal before the start of the season, he’ll be hard-pressed to deliver and silence the critics once and for all by proving that he’s the guy they need to get over the hump.
