If Tyreek Hill is not the best wide receiver in the NFL, and there are certainly arguments to be made for a select few others, he is on the very short list.

The Miami Dolphins standout watched this offseason as some of his peers were richly rewarded.

They included Minnesota’s Justin Jefferson, who signed a position-record $140 million contract with the Vikings.

Hill enters the fall under a four-year, $120 million deal he inked with the Dolphins in 2022, per Spotrac, and while he is far from a disgruntled player, he obviously feels he has another payday on the horizon.

NFL expert Aaron Wilson reported that Hill is very happy for the receivers who cashed in on the hot market and explained that he is “also looking for a new deal.”

Hill added, “Very excited to see where I fit into that category.”

Where he should fit is at or very near the top.

After all, Hill leads one of the NFL’s most explosive offenses after catching 119 passes in each of his first two seasons in South Florida.

And last year, he led the NFL with 1,799 receiving yards and 13 touchdown receptions.

His 112.4 receiving yards per game were also tops.

Numbers aside, Tyreek Hill is a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses, and he is more than capable of going the distance anytime he touches the football.

Paydays follow performances, and Jefferson’s landmark deal reset the NFL’s wide receiver market.

It would not be surprising to see Miami tear up Hill’s current contract and reward him for the stellar work he’s put in since joining the Dolphins.
