Before the first slate of NFL games got underway on the first Sunday of the 2024 NFL season, news broke of superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins being arrested before he was able to reach Hard Rock Stadium to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Apparently, Hill was pulled over for a traffic violation, which escalated into an altercation with the superstar wideout and Miami police, resulting in him being arrested, with most of this altercation being caught on video by people driving by.

This was devastating news for the Dolphins for obvious reasons, but things got resolved quickly, as Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, took care of things to get his client in uniform and ready to take on the Jaguars.

Rosenhaus was interviewed before the game and made it clear that Hill was going to play and that they were going to take action to get to the bottom of what happened, as it seems as though Hill was treated very poorly and perhaps wrongfully arrested.

Ultimately, Hill proved to be the difference for the Dolphins on Sunday, as he caught an 80-yard touchdown pass and mocked the police for his arrest with a handcuff touchdown celebration.

According to Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network, after the Dolphins beat the Jaguars, Hill spoke to the media and expressed how upset he was about the situation.

“I was p***** off. I was f—ing teed up… I was fired up,” Hill said.

This is not the end of this situation, as there will reportedly be an investigation into the matter.

It’ll be interesting to see how things pan out and what really happened on Sunday in Miami.
