The Miami Dolphins’ Monday Night Football loss to the Tennessee Titans was filled with injuries.

Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill both got hurt in this matchup, although both returned to play.

Hill was dealing with an ankle issue, which has become too familiar for the star receiver.

While it was encouraging that he came back into the game, at the time, no one knew how serious this injury was when it happened.

Hill peeled back the curtain after the game, as Jeff Howe of The Athletic shared.

“When it happened, my first reaction was like, man, my ankle was gone,” Hill said.

Due to his previous ankle injuries, this must have been a scary thought for Hill.

If he had already known what other injuries felt like, having this strong reaction might have indicated that his season was over.

At this moment in time, that does not seem to be the case.

Hill returned to the game, catching a few passes after this injury.

His status is up in the air for the Dolphins’ upcoming games, which feature matchups with some of their competition in the AFC.

If he cannot go for at least one game, the Dolphins’ offense could suffer, as it did in the Titans game.

Hill is viewed as one of the NFL’s best receivers, and before this injury, he was on pace to break the single-season record for receiving yards.

He makes his teammates better; not having him on the field could be devastating.

For now, fans will have to wait and see if Hill has any more updates and what his status will be moving forward.
