The New York Jets have themselves a star in wide receiver Garrett Wilson.

The former first-round pick is off to a remarkable start in his young career.

Without competent quarterback play for the first few seasons of his career, the former Buckeye has recorded over 1,000 yards in each of his first two seasons.

Veteran backup Tyrod Taylor recently chatted with the New York media about how impressive Wilson has been this offseason.

“His attitude and his approach day-to-day also lifts up that room and brings high expectations across the board,” Taylor said, per SNY.

When a player can record over 1,000 yards while catching passes from the likes of Zach Wilson, Tim Boyle, Trevor Siemian, Mike White and others, that should say something about how great he is.

Wilson is a true No. 1 wide receiver.

He has also poured in over 80 receptions each of the last two seasons.

With a healthy Aaron Rodgers throwing him the football, Wilson should be able to set career-highs in 2024.

Not only will Wilson have the opportunity to excel with Rodgers under center, but free-agent signee Mike Williams will too.

The former 1,000-yard receiver with the Chargers will be playing with yet another elite quarterback.

He started his career playing with legend Philip Rivers.

Then, he got the chance to play with Justin Herbert.

Now, he will play with Rodgers.

This one-two punch in New York could have a fantastic season together.

As long as their quarterback remains healthy, they should make life very difficult for opposing defenses.
