Sometimes in life, you find yourself in a tough situation with no easy way out, and you just wish a superhero would roll up to come save the day, but unfortunately, life isn’t a Marvel movie.

The people in attendance at Tuesday’s Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Los Angeles Dodgers game found themselves in this exact situation, only this time, the hero showed up.

The game was delayed for two hours due to a massive swarm of bees that congregated behind home plate, and Matt Hilton of Blue Sky Pest Control got the call while he was at his son’s tee ball game and immediately came over to save the day, via Front Office Sports on Twitter.

Not only did Hilton safely gather all the bees, but he received a standing ovation and was also awarded the honor of throwing out the first pitch after the lengthy delay.

It’s not the first time something like this has happened, but nobody has swooped in and saved the day with the showmanship and presence of Hilton.

It provided fans with a fun story about an unlikely hero they will never forget.

Now he just needs to work on his first pitch.
