The New Year kicks off with a strong team event at the United Cup in Perth and Sydney, Australia.
Perth and Sydney are poised to host the highly anticipated second edition of the United Cup, featuring elite players from both the ATP Tour WTA in a thrilling 18-country team competition. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Perth starting from December 29th and will continue in Sydney from December 30th. The host cities will serve as the venues for group play and quarter-finals, leading to the semi-finals on December 6th and the grand final on December 7th in Sydney. The player lineup includes the respective World No. 1s, Novak Djokovic and Iga Swiatek, adding to the excitement of this prestigious international event.
This week’s events will kick start a month of tennis, which will culminate with the year’s first Major at the Australian Open from January 14 – 28.
