This follows their remarkable triumph against Chelsea in the 2024 Carabao Cup final, which manager Jürgen Klopp hailed as the most memorable of his career, not due to the title itself, but because his team overcame numerous injuries, deploying several academy players to secure a 1-0 victory with an extra-time header by captain Virgil van Dijk.
