Up-and-coming Korn Ferry Tour players on the cusp of securing PGA Tour cards for 2025

Korn Ferry Tour golfers on the verge of earning 2025 PGA Tour cards

The Korn Ferry Tour Championship marks the end of the 2024 season with a four-day, 72-hole stroke play event. The main focus of the tournament is the battle for a 2025 PGA Tour card. This season, 30 PGA Tour cards will be awarded, an increase from the 25 previously given out. So far, 17 cards have been secured, leaving 13 up for grabs. Five golfers currently in the top 30 standings have a 99.99 percent chance of retaining their positions.

For the remaining players, this week is a crucial test as they vie for the final eight cards. The field started with 75 players, but it is now down to 74 after Matt McCarty earned his spot on the PGA Tour with three wins this season. All 74 players still in the running have a mathematical chance to earn a card, although those currently ranked 59th or lower will need to win the tournament to secure a spot.

Here’s a closer look at the players on the bubble with only 72 holes left in the 2024 season:

1. Noah Goodwin
2. Aldrich Potgieter
3. Kaito Onishi
4. Trevor Cone
5. Trent Phillips
6. Trey Winstead
7. Brandon Crick
8. Kyle Westmoreland
9. Zach Bauchou
