Alberta’s Largest Provincial Tournament Supports Mental Health Initiatives 

The Phillip Thomas Memorial Open, now an Open 1000 event, is set to return to the Calgary Tennis Club in June. The event will support mental health and addiction awareness, raising funds for the Calgary chapter of the Canadian Mental Health Association and the Foundation for Addiction and Mental Health.

Eye in the Sky 

Tennis New Brunswick held their first outdoor tournament of the season with 58 players competing across the Open and Masters divisions. The weekend was packed with great matches, a great atmosphere and some excellent aerial footage of the venue.

Tennis NWT will hold their first indoor tournament of the season on June 7-9. The Open House that was scheduled for June 1 was cancelled due to bad weather.

International Talent Shines at SATC’s ITF J30 Tournament  

From May 11th to 17th, the Sobeys Atlantic Tennis Centre in Bedford hosted an ITF J30 tournament, attracting young tennis talents from around the world, as well as showcasing numerous skilled athletes from right here in Nova Scotia.

On June 9th from 2-4 p.m. Tennis PEI will host a “Try Tennis Event” at Pondside Park in Stratford, PE. This event is free and open to the public with no registration required.
