The SSFC community ratings are here! Due to a mixup, the wrong rating form was posted after the match on Monday night, prompting us to do a Staff Man of the Match for the USMNT loss to Trinidad & Tobago. The staff overwhelmingly thought Antonee Robinson as the Man of the Match, and even the lone vote for Yunus Musah was putting out a vote for discussion’s sake.
Finally, the correct form was posted, allowing the SSFC community to cast their votes on each of the players, coach Gregg Berhalter, and the referee. The SSFC community agreed with the staff in selecting Antonee Robinson the Man of the Match. With a 7.47 average rating, he far outpaced everyone in the ratings. Yunus Musah did end up second with a 6.44 average rating. On the other end, Sergiño Dest got the worst rating, to our knowledge, in the history of the SSFC community ratings. His two yellow cards in the span of 30 seconds for an incredible lashing out at the referee prompted him to be sent off in the 39th minute, and Trinidad & Tobago were able to score just a few minutes later as a result.
