Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs has been unanimously named the league’s Rookie of the Year.

The top pick of the draft showcased his talent, averaging 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, a league-leading 3.6 blocks, and 1.2 steals in 71 games. Wembanyama received all 99 first-place votes for a total of 495 points.

He becomes the first player to achieve at least 1,500 points, 700 rebounds, 250 assists, 250 blocks, and 100 3-pointers made in a season.

Additionally, he joins Manute Bol (1985/86) as the only rookies to lead all NBA players in blocks per game in a season.
