The Houston Texans mean business.
GM Nick Caserio and HC DeMeco Ryans went hunting in the offseason, and they’ve delivered.
Just on offense, adding Joe Mixon and keeping Bobby Slowik and Jerrod Johnson were huge wins, and trading for Stefon Diggs was the icing on top of the cake.
Notably, it seems like the four-time Pro Bowler is looking forward to this next stage of his career, as he’s already gotten to work with fellow WR Tank Dell and CB CJ Stroud (via Stroud For All Pro and Dov Kleiman).

At his best, Diggs is one of the absolute best wide receivers in the game.
Perhaps the biggest issue with him didn’t have anything to do with his talent or even with health; it was his attitude.
He comes with some baggage and well-documented antics and tantrums, which is most likely why the Buffalo Bills thought it was time to part ways with him.
He infamously got into Josh Allen’s face on the sidelines, and their offense actually looked better when he took a step back.
But if he’s motivated, he could give the Texans the reliable pair of hands and consistent pass-catcher they missed during Stroud’s rookie season.
It clearly seems like he’s bought in, and that could take this team a long way.
The Texans are no longer one piece or one year away, and by no means they should be considered a sleeper team or a dark horse.
This team is ready to make some noise now, and the league better be ready.
