Martin Zubimendi Scores Stunning Goal to Put Arsenal Ahead Against Sunderland
In a thrilling display, Martin Zubimendi scored a spectacular long-range goal to put Arsenal in front of Sunderland.
The talented Spanish midfielder, who has quickly become integral to Mikel Arteta’s team following his transfer from Real Sociedad, found the net in the 42nd minute.
During a period of patient passing, Leandro Trossard maneuvered into space on the left side and sent the ball back to Zubimendi at the edge of the box.
With one deft touch to position himself, Zubimendi then fired a powerful strike that narrowly clipped the inside of the post before soaring past Sunderland goalkeeper Robin Roefs.
