West Ham in discussions to acquire experienced ex-Premier League forward, aged 31

Pundit believes West Ham manager has had enough and could soon leave

Talks between West Ham United and Wilfried Zaha’s representatives look to be in progress, indicating that the Hammers are really interested in bringing the star back to the Premier League.

Zaha, a former Crystal Palace player, has previously been linked to West Ham on many occasions.

With the impending appointment of Julen Lopetegui as manager, these rumours have come up again.

The former Manchester United player could become Lopetegui’s first West Ham signing, according to Fotomac.

Zaha just left London last summer to join Galatasaray on a free transfer from his boyhood club Crystal Palace, and he’s since excelled in Turkey as well.

He has adjusted well, scoring 10 goals in 36 appearances across all competitions, and he also experienced the Champions League during his time there.

A number of players are linked with a move to West Ham as the club prepare to start a new era under a new manager.

Wilfried Zaha to West Ham United?

David Moyes is leaving the club after managing them for more than fours years and guiding them to Europa Conference League glory.

The Hammers are looking to make new additions to their squad as they need reinforcements in all positions.

The Hammers will be active in the transfer market as a result of many players leaving as free agents and impending sales of players like Lucas Paqueta.

Zaha would add a new dimension to West Ham

The former Palace attacker will assume Paqueta’s slot in the attacking areas, even if he won’t be a like-for-like replacement.

The Hammers are now in negotiations with the player’s entourage over a potential transfer to the London Stadium.

He would add pace, creativity and goals to the West Ham attack that would help Jarrod Bowen who is mostly burdened with the responsibility of leading the Hammers attack.

A return to London would appeal to Zaha and that could work in the favour of the Premier League club.
