What golf clubs does NFL legend Tom Brady carry in his bag?

What golf clubs does NFL legend Tom Brady carry in his bag?

Tom Brady

Tom Brady is known for dropping long bombs on a dime in NFL – and he isn’t half bad at golf either.

Perhaps the purest indication of how seriously Brady takes his golf is the fact that he is a big Titleist fan.

Brady using Titleist is the perfect fit as both are synonymous with a relentless pursuit of perfection and crazy numbers.

He uses the Titleist TSR3 driver to get the most out of his game off the tee. A player’s driver that provides incredible speed, distance and playability, the TSR3 is built for players who create consistent contact and benefit from precise control of movable CG placement.

Brady has just one fairway wood in his bag, similarly trusting the same TSR3 technology in his 5-wood.

A big powerful man, Brady has little use for a 3-wood and bridges the gap between his 5-wood and his irons with a Titleist 913H hybrid.

The 913H hybrid delivers long-distance and medium forgiveness with outstanding ground contact and ball flight – and once again this is a club that is targeted at better players, known for its distance and explosive feel.

The Hybrid also seems to fill the gap of a 3-iron which Brady does not have in his.

For his long irons, Brady uses a two and four from Titleist’s T200 range, while he favours the T100s from six through to nine.

He uses three customised Titleist Vokey Design SM9 wedges which are the most commonly used clubs on the PGA Tour by bag appearances.

The only exception to the Titleist domination of the record-breaking NFL quarterback’s bag comes in the form of his putter.

On the green, Brady turns to TaylorMade’s Ghost Manta putter.

Ghost Manta provides the performance benefits of a high-MOI putter but is neatly packaged in a more traditional one-piece, neo-mallet shape. From the ball side view the face of the putter looks like a traditional blade, but it has the CG and alignment benefits of a mallet.
