White Sox Analysts Devastated Following Recent Defeat

Just about everything that could possibly go wrong has gone wrong for the 2024 Chicago White Sox, as even though they found a way to win a couple of games over the weekend against the Boston Red Sox to end a 14-game losing streak, two days later they have found themselves at rock bottom once again.

The White Sox fumbled a 4-0 lead last night against the Seattle Mariners and gave up four runs in the 8th inning to tie the game before surrendering a walk-off grand slam at the hands of Cal Raleigh in the 9th inning, and the team’s analysts were completely shellshocked following the loss.

On the postgame show, “Late Night with Chuck & Ozzie,” fans witnessed reporter Chuck Garfien crawl onto the set wondering what has happened to this franchise while a piano played some somber background music for the two to mourn, and former team manager Ozzie Guillen accompanied his co-host with a cactus, to which he exclaimed “I’m gonna sit on it” because it might hurt less than the game they just watched.

The White Sox are so bad they have Ozzie Guillen sitting on cacti.

The team wasted an outstanding start from Erick Fedde, who went seven innings and gave up one run and lowered his season ERA to just 3.10, by far the best mark of his career.

At 17-50, this team’s schedule isn’t about to get any easier either with three more games against the Mariners on deck before heading to Arizona for a series with the Diamondbacks, and following that up with sets against the Houston Astros, Detroit Tigers, and Los Angeles Dodgers.

Get it together, White Sox, before Ozzie really hurts himself.
