This women’s college golf tournament is held on two premier courses in the state. According to Golfweek’s Best rankings, the Fazio Course at the site is ranked No. 2 in the best you can play category, while the Norman Course is tied for fourth place.
The tournament featured teams such as Arkansas State, Boise State, Denver, Eastern Michigan, East Tennessee State, Kansas, Little Rock, Mercer, North Carolina Asheville, Northern Arizona, Pepperdine, Sacramento State, South Dakota State, UC Irvine, and Wichita State.
During the opening round on Monday, play was briefly interrupted when a large moose emerged from a pond and wandered onto one of the holes.
After a minor delay, the tournament resumed.
