Wolf Pack clinch Calder Cup playoff berth | TheAHL.com


The Hartford Wolf Pack clinched a berth in the 2024 Calder Cup Playoffs on Friday evening with a 5-3 victory over the Springfield Thunderbirds.

The Wolf Pack return to the postseason after making a run to the division finals in 2023. It will be their 17th playoff trip overall, including a Calder Cup championship in 2000 and conference finals appearances in 1998, 2004 and 2015.

Hartford will be one of six teams to qualify for the Calder Cup Playoffs out of the Atlantic Division; the top two finishers will get byes into the division semifinals, while the third- through sixth-place teams square off in best-of-three first-round series.
