The New York Yankees lost against the Oakland Athletics on Monday afternoon. The defeat, however, was in no way Carlos Rodon’s fault. Rodon started the game and delivered a strong performance, continuing his impressive form from this season. Despite a rough 2023 season due to health issues, Rodon has improved significantly in 2024. In the recent game against the A’s, he tossed seven scoreless innings, allowing just a single hit and two walks while striking out four. His ERA for the season is now 2.70.

While Rodon is not yet at his peak performance level, he is showing promising signs of returning to top form. The Yankees’ investment in him is starting to pay off, especially during Gerrit Cole’s absence. Rodon’s recent performances on the mound demonstrate his dedication to improvement and his potential for continued success.
