Yunus Musah had a successful debut season with Italian giants AC Milan after making a major move in his club career last summer. Now, the American midfielder is reflecting on his experience in Serie A.
Back with the U.S. men’s national team for upcoming friendlies against Colombia and Brazil, Musah had the opportunity to play alongside fellow USMNT teammate Christian Pulisic at AC Milan this past season. Both players played key roles in helping AC Milan secure a second-place finish and qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season.
Musah expressed his enjoyment of playing for one of Italy’s historic clubs and connecting with Pulisic both on and off the field throughout the season. He praised Pulisic for his growth as an attacker on the right-wing and his impact on the team.

During his first season at AC Milan, Musah made 40 appearances across various competitions, including the Champions League and Europa League. Despite a brief injury setback in December, he was pleased with his overall performance and contribution to the team.
Looking ahead to the USMNT camp, Musah faces competition from several in-form players like Weston McKennie, Malik Tillman, and Johnny Cardoso. He acknowledged the challenge of facing tough opponents like Colombia and Brazil before the start of group stage play in the upcoming matches.
